Samuel serves as an editor for his high school newspaper, Evolution, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping the publication. His responsibilities include overseeing article assignments, editing submissions for clarity and accuracy, and collaborating with writers to ensure high-quality content. Samuel is deeply involved in every stage of the publication process, from brainstorming story ideas to finalizing layouts. His dedication and leadership help maintain the newspaper’s reputation as a reliable and engaging source of news for the school community.

As the President of OCSA's Gavel Club, Samuel leads efforts to help students develop confidence and public speaking skills in a supportive and engaging environment. Through workshops, practice sessions, and creative activities, Samuel guides members in honing their communication abilities. Samuel also organizes exciting competitions, including improv speech contests, where students can showcase their talent and win prizes. His goal is to empower students to find their voice and excel in expressing themselves, both on and off the stage.

Strike a Chord Charity
As the President of Strike a Chord, a charity Samuel has proudly been part of since 2020, he leads initiatives to support music education in underserved communities. The charity collects and donates musical instruments to school districts in need, ensuring their music programs can thrive. In addition to organizing fundraisers, the team also provides hands-on music lessons to children, fostering creativity and confidence through the power of music. His passion lies in creating opportunities for young minds to connect with music, regardless of their circumstances.

As a Legal Assistant at the Immigration Law Firm, Samuel earned the title of “Asylum Expert” due to his extensive experience working with asylum clients, despite being the youngest member of the team. He has developed a deep understanding of asylum cases and the unique challenges they present, which has allowed him to provide exceptional support to both clients and attorneys. Additionally, he has implemented an efficient system for processing cases, streamlining workflows and improving overall case management. Samuel's dedication and innovation have made a meaningful impact at the firm and for the clients the firm serves.
